Whole grain spaghetti with gilthead bream

Ingredients for 2 people

  • Whole grain spaghetti: 120g
  • Half a carrot
  • Celery: a small stalk
  • Half an onion
  • Some leaves of sage
  • Gilthead: 2 filets
  • White wine: half a glass ½
  • Extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper


  1. Wash, chop, the celery, the onion, and the carrot. Then brown them with a little oil and some leaves of sage.
  2. Skin the gilthead filets and dice them. Add to the pan with the sautéed vegetables and brown over high heat for a few minutes.
  3. Simmer with white wine until reduced, cook until done and season to taste.
  4. Cook the spaghetti according to the packaging directions. Drain and add the spaghetti to the sauce and stir fry for a few seconds. Serve immediately.
